About My Work:
Iveta Asons teaches Latvian folk dance, choreographs Latvian folk-inspired dances, and dances with the Indianapolis Latvian Folk Dance Ensemble. She also plays kokle (Latvian lap-zither), kankles (Lithuanian lap-zither), kannel (Estonian lap-zither),and giga (Latvian trough fiddle) with the Indianapolis Baltic Folk Music Ensemble.
