In its eighth year, this space sells works in watercolor, ink, pastel, acrylic and mixed media as well as handcrafted sterling silver jewelry. The gallery features the work of Ann W. King and other juried show award winning artists.

Alias Gallery is dedicated to showcasing prominent and emerging urban artists in rotating exhibitions. The gallery's partner store, Gnosis, at the same location carries related items such as sticker packs, graffiti and art books. Also located in the space is the office of PEEL Magazine, an innovative publication celebrating the sticker as urban art.

Art at Clowes is a gallery located just outside Clowes Memorial Hall, a performing arts center on the campus of Butler University. The gallery offers four exhibits by Indianapolis-based artists each season. Exhibits include professional and amateur works. The gallery collaborates with area arts organizations including the Stutz Artist Association, Harrison Center, Indianapolis Art Center, and Bodner Studios. Exhibits feature two-dimensional works, primarily painting and some photography.

Art and Soul offers limited edition giclées, serigraphs, etchings, and photographs from more than 50 nationally and internationally known artists as well as custom framing. It also offers African-American sculpture.

Art IN Hand is a co-operative art gallery of 21 artists from central Indiana. Art forms include stained glass, blown glass, pottery, turned wood, small furniture, watercolors, pastels, acrylics, fiber, jewelry mixed media, steel sculpture, and photography.

Carreño Studio and Gallery features the sculpture of nationally renowned metal sculptor, Bernie Carreño. The gallery also offers two-dimensional art by top local artists. The Center for Creative Arts Gallery is an artist cooperative gallery located in Zionsville. It represents award-winning artists who create affordable originals in watercolor, acrylic, oil, pastel, collage, fiber and 3D works in wood, ceramic, glass and paper. The Domont Studio Gallery serves as the studio and gallery for Indiana artist John J. Domont. Douglas David Fine Art is the working studio and gallery of this Indianapolis artist. David specializes in impressionistic oil on canvas paintings featuring subjects ranging from classic landscape and seascape to romantic florals and still lifes.

The Fine Estate Art Gallery features vintage, original Indiana artwork and new and used handmade rugs. 

Flame Art Studios is the brainchild of three women who work with fire: Nancy Lee, Bonnie Ramirez and Jari Sheesh. The studio, located in an industrial complex on Indianapolis' Near Eastside represents a collaboration of three "fiery" women bonded by a mutual addiction to the flame. Each woman is an independent artist mastering different mediums, and each offers classes, workshops and private instruction in their chosen craft. The group boasts diverse talents, including metalsmithing, jewelry fabrication, sculpture, Precious Metal Clay, beading, lampworking, enameling and welding.

For the Love of Art is a personal and intimate antique shop that also showcases local artists working in a variety of media such as watercolor, pastels and glassworks.

This gallery represents both local and nationally known artists featuring oil and acrylic paintings, ceramics, hand blown and fused glass, and bronze and stone sculpture in both traditional and contemporary styles.

Denise Frazier Pettee is a contemporary impressionist artist who often paints "en plein aire" or directly from nature in the outdoors. Her subjects take her to France and Italy and include ballroom and ballet dance figures, landscape, cityscape and marine art.

G. C. Lucas Art Gallery represents artists from Indiana and across the country. Works range from still lifes and figurative works to plein air landscapes including some 19th c. Hoosier Group artists.

This gallery features the work of local watercolorist, Sue Semenick as well as handmade jewelry and giclees prints from other local artists.

The Pike Performing Arts Center operates the gallery as an outreach to the professional visual arts community with an emphasis on emerging artists.

The Birdie Gallery, located at the Hamilton County Art Center, displays works in various media including painting, ceramics, and sculpture as well as offers a gift shop. The center itself offers space for artists as well as occasional classes and special arts and cultural events.

The Hamilton County Artists' Association strives to promote a greater awareness of and encouragement for creative art in Hamilton County by offering programs and exhibitions in their new art center featuring the "Birdie Gallery"

Harrison Gallery, located in the Harrison Center for the Arts, offers rotating monthly exhibitions and features contemporary work from local established and emerging artists. Monthly artist receptions are themed and feature special events and concerts with local musicians.

The Herron Gallery provides the IUPUI students and faculty as well as the community at large with firsthand exposure to contemporary works of art created by regional, national and international artists.

Herron School of Art and Design is a professional art school committed to increasing the visual literacy of the entire community through a rigorous arts curriculum and a variety of programs including international travel, gallery exhibitions, Saturday School, Summer Honors Art Program, Youth Art Camp and the Visiting Artist Lecture Series. Herron's size, range of offerings and location in downtown Indianapolis create unique opportunities for individuals to develop their respective artistic visions.

Gallery -- The Herron Galleries provide Herron and IUPUI students, faculty and the community-at-large with first-hand exposure to contemporary works of art created by regional, national and international artists. 

The Hoosier Salon has been committed to promoting Indiana artists and their art since 1925. The association displays a wide diversity of art at its office and galleries including works in oil, watercolor, pastel and acrylic as well as blown glass, ceramics, wood, and metal. Its biggest show is an annual exhibition of juried fine arts at the Indiana State Museum.

On the campus of IUPUI, the Cultural Arts Gallery primarily focuses on under-represented artists such as women and minorities. The gallery strives to raise awareness and appreciation for cultural diversity through the visual arts.

For more than 50 years the JCC has been located in the heart of a north-side neighborhood in Indianapolis. The JCC is open to all regardless of faith, ethnicity or financial means, and all cultural arts events are open to the public. Seven times a year, the JCC gallery exhibits works by local artists. The annual Ann Katz Festival of Books features renowned authors in late October for three weeks of author presentations and signings, film screenings, a book sale and activities for all ages. Throughout the year, the JCC auditorium hosts live performances, musical productions, film screenings and talk shows, including the popular Mickey's Corner with host Mickey Maurer. The JCC offers dance classes for youth and adults, adult painting classes and a summer arts camp for children.

The Cultural Arts Department of JCC offers a wide range of art programming, including a film series, theatre productions, concerts, and an art gallery space offering rotating exhibits that feature local artist's work.

KellarMahenyGallery is a new art space in historic Zionsville featuring contemporary fine art by Kellar Mahaney, Chuck Kellar, Anne R. Tirey, Maureen O'Hara Pesta, Margaret Hanson and Tom Casalini.

Kuaba Gallery features a diverse collection by internationally and locally established artists working in a variety of media that includes paintings, wood, metal and stone scultpures, as well as ceramics. Owner Jayne During is a respected authority on Zimbabwean (Shona) sculptures, which she actively cross promotes globally. Rental programs, consulting services, and workshops are offered.

This new gallery features Modern and Contemporary art including photography and painting. Its focus is what's new and current.

The artists at LCi exhibit a broad range of works including: textiles, ceramics, oil paintings, photographic art, digital art, stained glass, blown glass and watercolor paintings. The works are created in a variety of types, styles, colors and media.

Loudermilk Photography and Gallery features a variety of artwork from both known and unknown artists. It offers shows in various media including oil/acrylic on canvas, watercolor, sculpture, pottery and photography. Owner, Mike Loudermilk, offers many photography services in his studio within the gallery including portraits, head shots for performers and documentary/portfolio photos for visual artists' work. 

Masterpiece Gallery offers oil ad watercolor paintings, limited edition giclees, serigraphs by internationally recognized artists, and the "Secret Art of Dr. Seuss." In addition, it offers residential and corporate art consultation and museum-quality framing.

McFee offers rotating exhibitions of local contemporary art.

The Murphy contains five galleries, twenty-three studios, an art supplies store, and a cafe.

Originals Art Gallery features the work of Hamilton County's award-winning artists in oil, watercolor, woodcarving, and pottery. It's also home of the "Friendship Spoons."

Picture this offers original oils, watercolors, and pastels from Indiana and international artists as well as sculpture from South Africa. It also offers high-quality custom frames with conservation services.

ProArt Gallery offers original work in a variety of media including limited editions and giclees prints, and custom framing. The gallery is known on the south side as the place to visit for unique original pieces that ake wonderful gifts.

Sigman´s was established in 1987 and features traditional Indiana art. a variety of traditional oil paintings are offered from still lifes to figurative works. The gallery also specializes in museum-quality framing using archival materials to framed fine art as well as photos and sports jerseys.

The Off-Broadway Gallery offers works in a variety of media. The organization also offers fine art classes for adults and children and is host to the Midwest National Abstract Art Exhibition in Partnership with the Garfield Park Arts Center.

STUTZARTSPACE is a nonprofit visual art center on the first floor of the Stutz Business Center. Sponsored by the Stutz Artists Association, its mission is to connect artists, audiences and resources through classes, workshops, monthly exhibitions and other programs.

Located at 190 N. Sycamore St. in the former First United Methodist Church, this building is a 17,000 sf artists' studio and art gallery operation.

Featuring approximately 20 various sized studio spaces, artists can lease space on a monthly basis for 24/7 use. Space includes all utilities, wireless internet, and periodic use of the 3000 sf gallery space for public and private formal showings. This formal gallery is also available to the public for rental as a banquet and reception hall.

The Art Store Gallery specializes in ethnic art originals and limited editions. It also offers custom framing and art consultation.

The Banyan Tree Art Gallery will be opening November 6, 2009. The gallery has a life- size construction of a Banyan tree, which creates the sensation of being outdoors as people wander through the gallery observing the exhibits. A variety of artists' work will be exhibited, showcasing art forms from painting to photography to sculpture to jewelry.
 
The word banyan means Market or Merchant and in many cultures is a symbol of enlightenment and spirituality.  The tree is a symbol of Indianapolis’ expanding art community.

Formerly a vacant factory, the Wheeler is a 60,000-square-foot building that has been completely renovated into an artist's residence and community arts and service center - complete with classrooms, gallery space, thirty-six living/working studio lofts for artists, and a theatre. The University of Indianapolis and Southeast Neighborhood Development (SEND) have formed a partnership to provide on-site programs and courses at Wheeler. The Wheeler galleries offer new work by guest and resident artists and live music every First Friday of the month.

"The Zionsville Arts Initiative seeks to increase awareness and support of the arts in Zionsville and beyond." Growing from a core group that made up the Zionsville Brick Street Gallery Walk committee, the group saw the need for an organization to support the arts in Zionsville in a larger way. Zionsville Arts Initiative (ZAI) was formed to support all types of art in and around Zionsville. Our name grew from what we saw our role in the community to be. The community was ready for a kick-start. Something to keep the arts moving forward. We may act in many ways like an arts council, but we wanted to say we are a hands-on organization. We are an organization of doers not dictators. We are looking to become a hub of information and resources to arts and the public in our area. We plan to contact other arts organizations and event based arts groups to see how we can partner and help each other. The Zionsville Arts Initiative will now host the Brick Street Gallery Walk and after two successful events last year, this year looks promising for both events this year. The introduction of the Art & Space Program and the rejuvenation of the First Friday Gallery Walks will serve as a solid foundation for the ZAI.
