Central Indiana is home to a wide array of arts and cultural organizations that offer arts programs, exhibits, festivals, and performances throughout the year that make our community more interesting, more colorful—and more alive. These organizations make our community more attractive not only to residents, but to tourists, visitors, and corporations looking to relocate to a new city. In fact, a recent economic impact study conducted by the Arts Council as part of a nation-wide survey by Americans for the Arts showed that the local non-profit arts organizations contribute nearly half a billion to the local economy annually.
