One of the rising stars in classical music, Khatia Buniatishvili will make her ISO debut in one of the crown jewels of the piano repertoire, Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 2. Noted conductor Rossen Milanov will lead the Orchestra in performances of Prokofiev's Symphony No. 4 and Shostakovich's Festive Overture.

PETAL project

January 27-February 6

During the summer and fall of 2011, 30 students from Indianapolis' Near Eastside participated in the PETAL project (Photographing Eastside Transformation and Legacy). Students conducted writing exercises, engaged in dialogue with community members and documented the changes happening outside their doors through photographs. The student's artwork will be on display at the Indianapolis Artsgarden January 27 – February 6.
